The Command Prompt has been part of Microsoft Windows since the very beginning and rests as one of the least reformed components of the Windows operating system. Even the Windows 10 Command Prompt, which you can see below, looks same as the Command Prompt in much before version of Windows. However, Microsoft is making an effort to get the Command Prompt up to date by giving it some new cool features.
Recently launched, Microsoft Windows 10 carries a lot of new features in Command Prompt (CMD), things like full screen mode, text selection, more editing options, additional keyboard shortcut keys to open and close console window, etc. Also, allows users to adjust Command Prompt window opacity to make it transparent.
All these cool features should be enabled by default. You can confirm it by pressing Alt + Enter key while you are in Command Prompt window. If, the windows switches to a full-screen mode, it means all new Windows 10 Command Prompt features are enabled.
