Infinix Mobility is following up on the recently launched Infinix HOT 9 Play with one more phone with an emphasis on the cameras and batteries. The company has quietly launched its new budget smartphone under its Note 7 series – the Infinix Note 7. The smartphone comes with a huge display, quad rear camera setup, MediaTek processor under the hood with a massive 5,000mAh battery.

The Infinix Note 7 looks familiar as it resembles most 2020 smartphones with the left-oriented punch-hole selfie camera cutout. The phone looks elegant and with a premium feeling with the colour gradient back.

Infinix Note 7 boasts a 6.95-inch (1640 x 720p) HD+ Infinity-O display with a 16MP selfie camera punched-in. The thin top bezels host the earpiece, sensors and a notification light.

The smartphone runs on a MediaTek Helio G70 (12 nm) chipset with an octa-core processor coupled with ARM G52 MC2 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card with up to 2TB memory.

The Note 7 sports a circular camera module that houses the quad-camera setup that comprises – a 48MP f/1.8 primary sensor, 2MP f/2.4 dedicated macro, 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor and a dedicated 2MP sensor for low-light video with an f/1.8 lens.

Software-wise the Note 7 comes running Infinix’ own XOS 6.0 over Android 10. XOS comes with useful additions such as Game Mode and Live Transcribe. These utilities and tools add value without getting in the way. Also, it comes with DTS audio processing for better audio clarity. And, it has a stereo speaker setup.
