Realme 5i With Snapdragon 665 and 5000mAh Battery Launched in Nepal

To all tech enthusiasts in Nepal, we have a happy news to share with you. Realme has launched the much-awaited Realme 5i in the Nepal on 22 January, 2020. Previously, there were speculations about the possible launch of the smartphone. According to reports, the smartphone will be up for sale from 26th January, 2020 across all retail stores in Nepal.

Realme 5i is available in two memory configurations: 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. However, Realme 5i’s 4GB RAM variant will only be up for grabs in Nepal.

We can’t rule out special surprises from the Realme with the exclusive color variants for Nepal region. With the launch of a premium smartphone, the company is reportedly aiming to increase the market share because of stiff competition from the rivals Xiaomi.

Talking about the display, the Realme 5i flaunts a 6.5-inch notch Corning Gorilla Glass display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. With an overall pixel density of 269PPI, the handset offers 480cd/m2 maximum brightness. The device provides support for night mode, which helps you to read content easily at low light.

Talking about the performance, the Realme 5i works under Snapdragon 665 processor with clock speed of up to 2.2GHz. The chipset carries 11nm manufacturing process, which company claims to emit low heat even during extreme gaming sessions.

The battery capacity of 5000 mAh is sufficient to run for several days based on the usage. The package includes a 10W charging power adapter, which enables you to charge without waiting for a long time. Out-of-the-box, the smartphone runs with ColorOS 6.0.1 based on Android P. Realme throws in periodic updates regularly and hence you will have latest security updates including bug fixes and improvements.

On the optics, the Realme 5i ships boast a 12MP AI camera with support for PDAF, HDR, Chroma boost and other major functionalities. The camera also includes several modes such as filter, panorama, expert and time-lapse.

Nowadays, smartphones ships with multiple secondary cameras and the Realme 5i is no different since it offers 8MP wide-angle, 2MP portrait camera sensors respectively.

Realme 5i Price and Availability in Nepal

The Realme 5i is priced at Rs. 20,990 in the Nepalese market, which is Rs. 6,500 higher than the price in India. The product costs INR 8,999 in India, which equates to Rs. 14,400. We have to wait and watch as to whether the company will address this issue.

The Realme 5i will be available to buy in two color options: Aqua Blue and Forest Green. Realme 5i will go on sale offline starting January 26. It remains to be seen whether the phone also goes on sale online or not.
