Samsung adding a new phone in its Galaxy M lineup has introduced the Samsung Galaxy M21. The South Korean tech company known to be the pioneer of Super AMOLED panels began implementing the display on its mid-range Galaxy series. The good news is the all-new Galaxy M21 affordable handset comes with the sAMOLED touchscreen to provide crisp detail, better color reproduction, and wider viewing angles.
The highlight of the new Samsung Galaxy M21 smartphone is the triple camera setup on the rear side and a humongous 6000mAh battery under the hood. Launched at a starting price of INR 12,999. The Galaxy M21 will be available for purchase via e-commerce platform Amazon from March 23.

Samsung Galaxy M21 Specifications and Features
The brand-new Samsung Galaxy M21 boasts a tall 6.4-inch Super AMOLED full HD+d Infinity U display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The AMOLED panel has a screen-to-body ratio of 84.2 percent and a pixel density of 403ppi. For a price under Rs 13,000, a huge screen that too an AMOLED panel is a decent offering. The phone offers an Always-on-display feature as well.
Powering the phone is Samsung’s in-house Exynos 9611 chipset which is fabricated on a 10nm process. The same chipset is found on mid-range Galaxy M-series devices like the Galaxy M30s that costs Rs 15,999 online. The octa-core Exynos 9611 processor is paired with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU to perform graphic-intensive tasks.

On the optics front, Samsung Galaxy M21 flaunts triple rear cameras with LED flash. The triple camera setup sports a 48MP (26mm) primary wide lens with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, an 8MP (12mm) secondary lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP lens for depth-sensing. The camera software on the phone allows recording 2160p videos at 30fps. Upfront, the Galaxy M21 gets a 20MP camera for capturing selfies and making video calls.
In terms of software, the Galaxy M21 runs Android 10 OS with custom One UI 2.0 skin layered on top. As for the storage, Samsung has offered two variants- 4 GB RAM paired with 64 GB native storage and 6 GB RAM paired with 128 GB storage. The Galaxy M21 gets a dedicated microSD card slot that has expandable storage support of 512 GB. The phone has a battery capacity of 6000mAh and fast charging support.
Connectivity options include- WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth v5.0, A-GPS, Type-C reversible connector, FM Radio and 3.5mm headphone jack. On the rear side, a fingerprint sensor is embedded at the center. Other sensors onboard include- accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and compass.
Samsung Galaxy M21 Price in India and Availability
Samsung Galaxy M21 tags a price of INR 12,999 for the 4 GB RAM variant and will be available on purchase via Amazon. The new Galaxy handset will come in two color options- Raven Black, and Midnight Blue. For a price under 15k, the Galaxy M21 would be a decent buy with the triple camera setup, tall display with crisp colors and a big battery.
