With only few days left for the (Mobile World Congress) MWC 2020, the rumor mills are abuzz about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 series smartphones. The latest news is that the full specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series have been leaked via @mysmartprice. The tech portal has revealed the specifications of Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra that will be released on 11th February 2020.

Upon quickly going through the specs and if the leaks are true, we can infer that company is gearing up to launch a mind-blowing smartphone. The main highlight of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series will be the integration of 5G support coupled with water-resistant functionality. You can expect up to 12GB RAM with an enhanced resolution.

At the outset, the Samsung Galaxy S20 series will in all probability share common specifications. The smartphones will be powered by Exynos 990 processor, 128GB expandable internal storage loaded with One UI 2.0 based on Android 10.0 operating platform. However, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra will ship with 512GB storage model as well. The visual parameters share common features such as 120Hz Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display. You can expect Snapdragon processor for models shipped to Asian regions including India.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Specifications: Display

While the Samsung Galaxy S20 will ship with a 6.2-inch display, the Plus model will have a 6.7-inch display. And the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is rumored to kill your pockets with a whopping 6.9-inch display. The interesting point to note is that all the models will have an equal resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels coupled with 20:9 aspect ratio. There are minor differences in the pixel density.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Specifications: Camera

On the optics, the Samsung Galaxy S20 and the Plus counterpart share same camera sensors with 12MP primary camera, 64MP telephoto and 12MP ultra-wide sensors. We have serious doubts about the authenticity of the leaked specifications because the primary camera will most likely carry a 64MP sensor as per the latest industry norms. The handsets will offer 3X optical zoom with up to 30x digital zoom. You can record 8K videos at 30fps. The selfie camera will feature a 10MP camera with support for 4K video recording at 50fps.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra will ship with 108MP primary alongside 48MP telephoto and 12MP ultra-wide sensors. The device will offer 10x optical zoom with up to 100x digital zoom capabilities. This model will have a massive 40MP wide front camera.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Specifications: Battery

Like all other standard smartphones, the Galaxy S20 will work under a 4000 mAh battery. The Plus and Ultra variants will be integrated with 4500 mAh and 5000 mAh batteries respectively. Even if you drop the smartphone in water, you won’t have to worry because of the water-resistant support via IP68 technology.

You should accept the above specifications only with a pinch of salt since it’s too early to comment and wait for the official Samsung Unpacked event. The tech portals including Gadget Beats will be in a busy mode until the company actually launch the new handset series.
