Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual Now Available in Nepal; Can You Guess The Price?

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi, today, has launched its most-awaited entry-level smartphone – Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual in the Nepalese market. The smartphone comes as an upgrade to the Redmi 8A and was launched in India earlier in February. The smartphone comes with Aura X Grip design and specifications such as Snapdragon 439 processor and a 5,000mAh battery under the hood. 

Xiaomi’s Country General Manager for Nepal – Mr. Sourabh Kothari said,

Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual boasts a 6.22-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a waterdrop notch at the top. It also has p2i nano-coating making the smartphone splash-proof. 

Under the hood, the Redmi 8A Dual comes with 2.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor paired with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM depending upon the variant you choose to go with. The device offers 32GB of internal storage in both the variants, which is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot. 

The smartphone comes with (13MP+2MP) dual real cameras setup. The dual setup is followed by an LED flash module. On the front, selfies, video calls, and AI face unlock are aided by the 8MP camera that stays in the notch at the top of the display. The camera comes integrated with Google Lens.

Out-of-the-box, the dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi 8A Dual runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie and also supports VoWI-Fi support. 

The smartphone is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The Redmi 8A Dual also comes with USB Type-C port and reverse charging capacity.

Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual Price in Nepal & Availability

Currently, the company has launched on the 3GB+32GB variant of Redmi 8A Dual in Nepal with a price tag of NPR 12,999, which is the same as Redmi 8A. 

Talking about the availability, the Redmi 8A Dual will be up for grab in three color options i.e. Sky White, Midnight Grey, and Sea Blue. The smartphone will hit the shelves of offline stores, retail partners and online partners Sasto deal and Daraz starting tomorrow.
