Asus expanding its ZenBook line-up has launched Asus ZenBook 13 and Asus ZenBook 14, 2020 edition in Nepal. The laptops will be available for purchase via Nagmani International, the authorized distributor of Asus products in Nepal. The 2020 editions of ZenBook 13 and 14 feature the latest 10th-gen Intel processor, Harman Kardon certified surround sound, FHD display, and Magic NumPad.

Asus ZenBook 13, 14 (2020 Edition) Aspects
The Asus Zenbook 13, 14 ultra-light laptops are built out of metal and have an ErgoLift hinge design that slightly elevates the keyboard. The glossy finish ultrabooks have a thickness of 13.9mm and are surrounded by thin bezels on all sides.
The left edge houses the necessary ports like the standard HDMI 2.0 port, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, etc. The edge-to-edge keyboard feature white LED backlit keys and has a key travel distance of 1.4mm. The laptops lack a physical numeric keyboard; Asus has instead integrated NumberPad 2.0 in the trackpad for easy access and functionality.
The Asus ZenBook 13, 14 features full HD IPS display with a frameless NanoEdge design and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The display offers 100 percent sRGB coverage and a peak brightness of 300 nits. A 3D IR camera is placed at the top up front that comes with face unlock support.
For performance, Asus has employed Ice Lake i5 1035G7 CPU on its ultra-thin ZenBook laptops. The 10th-gen Intel processor is based on a 10nm process and features four cores and eight threads. It has a base frequency of 1.00GHz and a turbo boost of 3.60GHz.
While the Asus ZenBook 13, 14 is available with Intel Core-i7 chip and Intel Iris Plus Graphics, the company has brought the Core i5 + Intel UHD Graphics package in Nepal. While the Iris Plus Graphics will provide a boost in performance over Intel UHD graphics, the latter will likely be able to run basic tasks and mid-end games with ease.
As for memory, the Intel Core processor is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD. A cheap version of the ZenBook 14 with Ryzen 5 4500U processor will also be available. The processor is fabricated on TSMC’s 7nm FinFET process and paired with AMD Radeon Graphics.
In terms of backup, Asus has equipped a 67Wh battery in both the variants. The laptops are claimed to offer up to 22 hours of battery. Further, the devices are said to charge up to 60 percent in less than an hour, courtesy of 65W fast-charging support.
